An Understated Dominance Chapter 2280 [4559–4560]

An Understated Dominance Chapter 2280 [4559–4560]-Kassidy’s attack was fast, but Rivka’s reaction was equally fast. At the moment when the two scimitars came, Kassidy’s sword had already been stabbed out.

“Wind-breaking Style!”

Rivka’s long sword shook violently, and a sword shadow suddenly appeared out of thin air.

The sword shadow was like a gust of wind, with bursts of sharp whistles impacting on Kassidy’s double swords.

“Clang clang clang…”

The sound of metal colliding swiftly halted Kassidy’s attack with her double swords, and Rivka, her sword shadow shattered, slashed directly into Kassidy’s chest and abdomen.

Because of the cover of the sword shadow, this sword was silent and unnoticed.

It didn’t seem to have much lethality, but it concealed endless dangers.

“Kassidy, be careful!”

In the audience, Noemi’s face changed. She discovered that Rivka possessed not only exceptional swordsmanship but also vast combat experience.

In an illusory move, she transitioned from defense to offense and assumed the dominant position.

“Hmm?”

Kassidy’s pupils shrank.

Without Noemi’s reminder, she had already reacted instinctively.

She leaned back suddenly, crossed her two swords in front of her chest, and narrowly avoided the sword.

“Swish!”

There was a sharp metal friction sound, and Rivka’s sword passed in front of her, sticking to Kassidy’s blade.

The blades rubbed against each other frantically, splashing a series of sparks.

Then, Kassidy’s two swords clamped Rivka’s sword like scissors, and then she twisted her body and kicked Rivka’s lower abdomen.

As the daughter of the Guildmaster of the Celestial Alliance, she had learned a lot. Not only was her swordsmanship amazing, but her fists and feet were also very powerful.

She had integrated the strengths of hundreds of schools and possessed no weaknesses.

Even if she abandoned the sword, she was confident that she could defeat the enemy with her fists and feet.

“Bang!”

When Kassidy kicked, Rivka also raised her foot and kicked up.

The soles of the feet on both sides collided heavily, making a dull sound, and then they separated at the touch and retreated several steps.

After a few simple moves of attack and defense, neither of them gained any advantage.

“The disciples of the Sword Union are truly extraordinary. Next, I will let you experience the unique skills of our celestial alliance!”

Kassidy spoke, and the handles of the two swords abruptly collided and twisted.

With two “clicks,”  the handles of the two scimitars were connected together, turning into a strange “S”-shaped weapon.

“Watch this!”

With her right hand, Kassidy grabbed the handle and threw it at Rivka.

“Swoosh…”

The “S”-shaped weapon spun wildly, creating afterimages in the air, and slashed towards Rivka with incredible speed.

While throwing the weapon, Kassidy took a step and pounced on it like a leopard.

At some point, she had put on a pair of silver gloves on her hands.

The gloves looked soft as silk, but they were actually rigid as iron. Mithril, an extremely precious material, crafted them.

Water and fire could not invade them, and they were impervious to swords and guns.

They could be used for both defense and attack.

“Swoosh…”

Looking at the strange weapon spinning like a fan, Rivka didn’t know how deep it was and didn’t choose to confront it head-on, but she dodged it.

At this time, Kassidy had already seized the opportunity, bullied herself, and punched Rivka in the chest.

Rivka remained calm, and she thrust her long sword forward, aiming straight at Kassidy’s throat.

The saying goes, an inch longer is an inch stronger.

Without a weapon, a sword would kill Kassidy before her fist could strike Rivka.

However, facing the attack, Kassidy seemed to have expected it and didn’t dodge. Instead, she stretched out her other hand and grabbed the sword that Rivka stabbed at.

Because she was wearing mithril gloves, the sword didn’t hurt her at all.

“Naive.”

Rivka raised her eyebrows slightly, and the long sword shook violently. A strong energy suddenly burst out, directly shaking Kassidy’s palm.

The long sword then swayed left and right like a spirit snake before taking another stab.

“Swoosh~!”

As she was about to hit the target, a sharp whistle suddenly sounded in her ears.

Rivka was alarmed, and she bent down immediately without attacking.

At the same moment, Kassidy’s strange weapon whirled around in the air and slashed back.

The sharp blade almost brushed against Rivka’s head, cutting off a strand of her hair.

“F*ck! That was close!”

Upon witnessing this scene, the audience beneath the stage erupted in excitement.

Fortunately, Rivka reacted quickly enough to dodge; otherwise, a boomerang would hit her, crippling, if not killing, her!

“D*mn! Kassidy is really insidious; Senior Sister almost fell into her trap!” Sullivan was startled, and his heart began to accelerate unconsciously.

“First use the boomerang to attract firepower, then attack closely to distract attention, and then use the boomerang to complete the fatal blow. This woman is really heartless. It seems that sister has met a strong enemy today.” Halle frowned and looked serious.

At this moment, she changed her previous impetuousness and became extremely serious.

It’s impossible to undervalue Alloy Marshall’s daughter.

“It’s a pity, just a little bit short.”

On the other side, Noemi sighed, quite regretful.

She naturally saw that Rivka was amazingly powerful. Just now, Kassidy’s set of unexpected killing moves was almost always effective against warriors of the same level.

She thought she could take the opportunity to take down Rivka, but she didn’t expect that the other party would notice it in advance and escape.

She had to admit that Rivka was not ordinary.

The battle of today was certain to be difficult.

  1. thankyousomuch admin for update hope it will end up soon we’re more interested on other big persons

  2. If not for unnecessary explanations and too much side reactions, this story would have gone far. Obviously, this writer is not listening to suggestions from his/her readers.

  3. At first I was rooting for Liu Rushiang all the way not knowing that Xiao Qiang is very capable too. Now it looks like it will be a draw if there’s such a thing in this competition. Additional thoughts: if Margaret wasn’t the princess and well guarded (even by Dustin of course), I’d like to see (read) her fight in action 😀
